Thanks for taking care of this issue. This work is part of "Update the rendering" step of the HTML Event Loop specification <https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/webappapis.html#update-the-rendering>. So getting the integration part right will benefit all ports and make the event loop work a lot easier.
